Opened in July 2017, Isola means island in Italian.  Isola serves up lovingly prepared classic Italian in an authentic, careful style with modern twists - complimented by an inviting wine list and full bar and delivered with that special touch by our cordial team.
Isola’s wine list presents a mix of European and domestic vintages including a variety of Italian selections.  The cocktail menu is curated to complement, not only our cuisine, but Shelter Island’s relaxed and inspiring atmosphere.
Our 135-seat restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating, a traditional bar, and a wood fired, brick oven pizza kitchen overlooking the dining room. Guests may choose to dine in the lively main dining room, spacious bar, side patio, or street front on our scenic front porch overlooking the Historic Shelter Island Heights District.Â
Isola is owned by Italian food and Shelter Island lover, Brad Kitkowski.
